MOGA Wolfchase

A new clinic and administrative headquarters for Memphis’ premier OB/GYN group. The building plan is linear to respond to the geometry of the property. The exterior is grounded with a consistent stone base and topped out with a metallic crown. The massing is accentuated with a darker toned metal ribbon and wood cladding. The main entrance is tucked beneath the drive-thru drop-off canopy. The wood clad ceiling of the drive-thru extends into the waiting area and defines the entry and check-in path. Within the clinical zones, color is used to demark staff and work areas and differentiate them from patient areas. Patient exam rooms are wrapped around the blue shared work areas. The second floor serves as the administrative offices and meeting areas. A large break room punctuates the rear corner of the second level where juliet balconies offer the ability to open up to the outdoors.
